Hi, my name is Braxton! I am 4 years old. I have the NIPBL gene change.
I have a ton of energy all the time! I love to be on my back, upside down, or spinning around. I have a little sister who I’m not too sure about yet, but I think she’ll grow on me!
Once I learn a new skill, I like to practice it over and over again and show it off to my parents and friends.
What advice do have for other parents?
Hey there parents!! First and foremost, YOU are doing a great job!
Being a parent is the hardest most rewarding job. My advice to parents, always trust your intuition! You know your child better than any (most*) medical professionals. Push the boundaries, ask the questions, don’t settle if you don’t like the answer! Find the joy in your child because they will teach you things about yourself that you didn’t know were in you!
Lastly, if you have found the CdLS foundation, you have found a nugget of gold! The friends and connections you will make are priceless.
