Matching Gifts

Your gift can change a life. Your company’s matching gift can change another. Did you know that hundreds of companies across the country match employee contributions to the CdLS Foundation?

Find out if your company has a matching gift program and if the CdLS Foundation is a part of it by visiting your HR department.

Workplace Giving

When you sign up for your employer’s workplace giving program, a set amount (you decide) is deducted from each paycheck and sent to the Foundation.

The Foundation’s Combined Federal Campaign’s identification number is 11777.

If your company participates in a United Way campaign, simply write in Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation as we do not have an identification number.

Estate and Planned Giving

A planned gift to the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation is easy to arrange, will not alter your current lifestyle, and can be easily modified to address your changing needs.

Through a variety of planned gifts, including bequests, Charitable and Special Needs Trusts, and other estate gifts, including IRAs, retirement accounts and life insurance policies your gift can offer the advantages of an income stream or tax savings. To learn more about the Foundation’s legacy society, the Circle of Caring, contact CdLS Foundation at 800.753.2357 or outreach@CdLSusa.org.

Gifts of Securities

Gifts of stock, charitable trusts, retirement and insurance plans are excellent ways to receive a tax deduction and potentially avoid income tax or receive a deduction. When making a stock transfer, please call 800.753.2357 for the CdLS Foundation’s DTC number and further information.

Corporate and Foundation Partnership

The CdLS Foundation actively seeks support from corporations and foundations—big and small—that are committed to improving the lives of people with CdLS. Partnerships can be custom made to suit interest and budget. To discuss opportunities or learn more, contact Bonnie Royster at 800.753.2357 or director@CdLSusa.org.

Donor-Advised Funds

Did you know you can support the CdLS Foundation’s mission through your donor-advised fund (DAF)?

DAFs can be easily set up through a community foundation or your financial institution to serve as a flexible charitable giving vehicle. For more information on how to establish a DAF, contact your local community foundation or financial advisor. If you have already established a DAF and would like to direct a contribution to the CdLS Foundation, please send it to:
