Host a Fundraiser
We are so grateful for our fundraisers! Your efforts help the CdLS Foundation to continue to offer crucial services and resources to our incredible families.
To make your fundraising efforts easier, the Foundation has developed a number of tools and templates for you to use for different types of fundraisers.
We can even assist you with media contacts and template news releases to help generate interest in TV and newspaper coverage in your area.
The CdLS Foundation also has informational materials on CdLS that we can send for your event to help raise awareness. Please let us know your needs at least two weeks in advance so we can make sure we have sufficient quantities for you.
Choose a Fundraiser That’s Right for You
When it comes to fundraising ideas, the sky is the limit! Here are a few ideas to consider, but feel free to come up with your own:
Local brewing companies and wineries are popping up everywhere. Invite your friends to attend your event by making donations online through your own fundraising page.
Set your date and your course and encourage colleagues, classmates, family and friends to support your efforts to raise money for the Foundation.
Turn a birthday, wedding or other celebration into an occasion to ask friends and family to donate to the CdLS Foundation.
You don’t have to be a pro bowler to enjoy this fun family friendly activity. Set a minimum that each bowler needs to raise, set your event date, throw in some raffle prizes, and you’ve got a great FUNdraiser.
Bring your friends together for an enjoyable meal with a chance to win donated auction items. Throw in a specialty event beverage and watch the bids/donations come in.
Tap into your fellow golf or tennis enthusiast’s competitive spirit, and start your own Golf Tournament or Tennis Round Robin. See who can bring in the most donations and win the victor’s cup!
Host a jewelry, cosmetic, clothing, toys or a nail party with a percentage of sales going to the CdLS Foundation.
Obstacle Course Challenge
Create an obstacle course in your own backyard or nearby park (with permission, or course), and invite folks to raise money for the Foundation in order to take the challenge.
Challenge friends, colleagues, classmates and family to help you raise money by running or walking the distance for CdLS.
