On July 24, $1,500 was raised for Team CdLS – athletes running the 2024 Bank of America Chicago Marathon in October for the Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS) Foundation. CdLS is a rare genetic spectrum disorder that causes a broad range of physical, cognitive, and medical challenges.
The “Rundraiser” event was held at Fleet Feet in West Hartford. Around 40 people attended to raise funds for Chicago Marathon participants Sam, Kerry, and Dannielle. The fundraiser included fun runs, snacks, refreshments, and a raffle. Donors included Fleet Feet West Hartford, Small State Provisions, Hartford Baking Company and more.
Fleet Feet has stores around the country, including two in Connecticut.
