What International CdLS Remembrance Day Means to Me – Rich Haaland

On CdLS Remembrance Day, I’m reminded of my own family losing a family member with CdLS and how Joe’s life and passing truly shaped each member of our family individually and defined who each of us has become.

However, I’ve also grown to meet and connect with many families who lost a family member with CdLS. There’s an enormous amount of comfort in knowing numerous families who very definitely understand and can relate to my own family’s love and grief.

I’m constantly amazed by and appreciative of these families who continue to openly share their experiences and provide support and comfort to everyone facing the challenges of living with CdLS.
