Nicholas was with us five short years. He brought us much joy in the midst of many tears. Having Nicky made us the people we are today! Through all the long days we learned to find laughter in even the little things. Every day we would say “Nickys going to walk, Nickys going to talk! “ He did learn to walk! At 17 lbs! He showed us how to love! We remember Him often! He would gag on solid food unless it was a cookie! He loved crunchy cookies. He gave pat pats to only a couple of us! He knew Losing a child or loved one with CdLS is devastating on many levels. Today – February 12 we stand in solidarity with moms and dads across our community to remember and honor each and every CdLS Angel. The inspiration for this day comes from the “Lights of Love” event hosted by Team Nikki.
