Grace was a beautiful, vibrant soul who filled our lives with sunshine. She pushed through many difficulties and remained happy and positive. When she lost her ability to walk she found a way to dance in her walker and find joy in new discoveries. She loved school and her “fan club” of friends who adored her. “Hurricane Grace” could flatten a room in mere seconds, then chuckle as she helped clean up the mess. She taught us about determination, patience, joy, long-suffering, friendship and love. She continues to be our beautiful angel.
Sometimes you find your soul mate in the most unexpected place. My soul mate came in a small but mighty package. It was an instant bond between Grace and I and we were inseparable and instantly more than best friends. My life was completed the day I met Grace. I never knew I could love another person so much and receive the equal amount of love in return from her. I would have, and did, do anything possible to make Grace happy. She was my whole world and will always be my everything. We will Forever and always be soul mates because our bond was developed long before we even met on this Earth. I believe our souls were created to be with each other. I can’t wait for the day I get to hold her and hug her again.
Grace had a way bringing joy into all the lives of those who got the opportunity to know her. She was fun and full of energy. She was always ready to play and create chaos wherever she would go. Once you met Grace there was no way you could ever forget her. She had a way of making people fall in love with her. She was amazing and she changed the lives of so many people who loved her. Meeting Grace changed my life and I am so grateful for the love and bond I got to share with her and the opportunity I got to watch her grow and accomplish so many things.
Grace adored singing and listening to books. She had a wild soul and had everyone wrapped around her finger. She loved going for rides in the wagon and jumping around outside. She would roll around in the grass and giggle like crazy. She had a great sense of humor and loved teasing others. She was smart and a fun friend for all who took time to get to know her.
Grace was nothing but pure personality! She was indeed dubbed the “Grace-Nado” at school, but was a joy to be around and to know. She was determined, smart, silly, and loved to sing and play games with others!
