We had April for almost 45 years and she earned every one. Her birth weight was 5 lbs. No one knew what was wrong and she was not expected to live very long. She had several surgeries to correct dislocated hips and related problems. She endured reflux, pneumonias, and respiratory illnesses all of her life, complicated by chronic pancreatitis. She was not demanding although she was totally dependent on us, and she was somewhat willful when she wanted to be. She loved church and interaction with friends, family, and her teacher. She made many friends including her doctors and home medical professionals and will be missed by all.
