Our sweet Addilyn Joelle, who we called ‘Addi Jo’, was born at 34 weeks weighing a whopping 3lbs 5oz and measured 15inches. She had the most beautiful head of dark brown hair and the most beautiful crystal blue eyes that sometimes looked green. She looked just like a baby doll and was often mistaken for one. She was so amazingly tough for being such a little bit! She was a daddy’s girl through and through and saved the best grunts and smiles for him. She gained her angel wings at only 19 months old. We miss her every single day. Her legacy lives on with the nonprofit that we created in her honor in 2019 called ‘Addi Jo’s Footprints’. It helps cover the cost of medical equipment and therapies for special needs children in our community that are not covered by their insurance plan. When the CdLS conference resumes in person, we also plan to sponsor a family to attend the conference. We love and miss you millions our sweet baby girl.
