We’ll walk two miles to raise funds for the CdLS Foundation. The walk is named after Will and Hope Kurth, who were both born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS), a rare genetic condition that affects growth, development, and other areas.

Based in Connecticut, the CdLS Foundation is a nonprofit that helps those affected by CdLS and their families. It holds a conference every other year, brings medical professionals familiar with the syndrome together, and connects researchers. It’s an invaluable resource for families like the Kurths.

On October 15, we’ll have the usual cider, donuts, and coffee. We’ll meet at the Mount Vernon picnic shelter. This is a non-timed event.
