Hypertension
Are hypertension or elevated potassium levels ever seen in people with CdLS?
I have not heard of many individuals with CdLS who have hypertension. I would always recommend doing renal (kidney) studies, including BUN (blood urea nitrogen), creatinine (both blood tests) and a urinalysis, as well as an echocardiogram. The physicians should view this as hypertension of unknown cause (not related to CdLS) and work it up appropriately.
