C. Difficile Treatment
My son has had a C. Difficile infection for several weeks. He did not respond to Flagyl suppositories and is now on Vancomycin orally. Is there a different medication for treatment with CdLS?
You can also use Alternagel and Amphogel to bind the toxin. They need to be separated from other medications when taking them, as it will bind those as well. Questran has also been used by it is difficult to get in children. The treatment should be the same for children, regardless of CdLS.
