DESCRIPTION:The CdLS Foundation Back-to-School Family Kickoff will be a weeklong virtual experience designed to help CdLS families begin the school year — and the next season of care — with practical tools\, trusted guidance\, and meaningful connection.  \nWhile the event is timed around the back-to-school season\, the content will be intentionally broader than school alone. Families in our community are navigating many different stages of life: early childhood\, school-age years\, transition planning\, adulthood\, residential placement decisions\, medical complexity\, grief\, and life after loss. This kickoff gives the Foundation an opportunity to meet families where they are while reinforcing that the CdLS Foundation remains a trusted source of information\, connection\, and support across the lifespan. \nThe week will include a mix of pre-recorded messages\, expert-led sessions\, gene-specific workshops\, veteran parent panels\, and real-life family conversations.
