DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2023 Walk for Will & Hope on Sunday\, October 15\, at Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Township.\nWe’ll walk two miles to raise funds for the CdLS Foundation. The walk is named after Will and Hope Kurth\, who were both born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome (CdLS)\, a rare genetic condition that affects growth\, development\, and other areas.\nBased in Connecticut\, the CdLS Foundation is a nonprofit that helps those affected by CdLS and their families. It holds a conference every other year\, brings medical professionals familiar with the syndrome together\, and connects researchers. It’s an invaluable resource for families like the Kurths.\nOn October 15\, we’ll have the usual cider\, donuts\, and coffee. We’ll meet at the Mount Vernon picnic shelter.
