On Sunday, October 7, Team CdLS ran The LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon despite the record high temperatures. The conditions required the race director to end the race early. Amazingly, all but two members crossed the finish line before the race was cancelled. Success cannot be measured by miles or finish times but by the connections made with the wonderful people involved, many meeting for the first time, coming together to champion awareness and advocacy for children with CdLS. We sincerely thank all family, friends, and volunteers that supported this dedicated team.
