Sponsorship Opportunities

Elite Start: Title Sponsor$40,000

As an Elite Start Sponsor, your company’s name and logo appear on Team CdLS singlets, commemorative t-shirts, weekly training guide email bulletins, at the pre-race pasta dinner, and post-race victory celebration. Your company’s name and logo appear on Team CdLS advertisements, promotions and collateral materials, including two issues of the Foundation’s bi-monthly newsletter, Reaching Out (with a readership of 15,000), the Team CdLS page and calendar on the Foundation Web site (60,000 hits per year), and all email blasts and direct mail pieces (7,000).

Your sponsorship is mentioned in all Team CdLS related publicity efforts (news releases are issues in media markets where runners reside) and you can request news releases in specific markets. Your photo with our Team CdLS ambassador—a young girl with CdLS—is included. Your company’s name and logo appear on all award certificates given at the victory banquet.

Signage and recognition: Your company name and logo appear on a full-page black and white “thank you” advertisement in the Chicago Tribune on Tuesday, October 14. The Tribune has a circulation of 1.7 million. Weekly demographics are as follows:

The CdLS Foundation also provides a full-page acknowledgement advertisement in a local paper of your choice on October 14.

Your company is permitted banner-size signage at all Team CdLS events. Full acknowledgement is given in the 2009 CdLS Foundation Annual Report.

Targeted sampling: Your company can provide promotional certificates for product(s), or products themselves, in all runners’ goodie bags.

Full promotional rights: Your company is permitted use of the CdLS Foundation logo on advertisements and promotions communicating its commitment to the cause.

Special presentation: You receive six tickets for your company spokesperson and guests to attend the pre-race pasta dinner and the victory celebration after the marathon. You get a full-page ad (4” x 7”) in the banquet program and your logo printed on all attendee name badges.



Victory Sponsor$20,000

Help us make every mile count by sponsoring the pre-race pasta dinner and the post-race victory celebration. As a Victory Sponsor your company name and logo appear on commemorative CdLS t-shirts.

Your company will receive four complimentary tickets to the pre-race pasta dinner held at Lou Malnati’s Restaurant in downtown Chicago and the post-race victory celebration. Your company name and logo appear in a full page ad (4” x 7”) in the post-race victory celebration booklet. You also get to meet the Team CdLS Ambassador—a young girl with CdLS—and receive publicity on the Foundation Web site (with more than 60,000 hits a year).
