Running a marathon is only achievable through commitment and determination—the same qualities children with CdLS display every day of their lives.

31st Annual Blue Cross Broad Street Run

Team Ambassador

Mike, father to Connor, and 14 of his friends and family took to the starting line of the 2010 Blue Cross Broad Street Run Sunday, May 2, as Team CdLS. The team raised over $23,000 for children with CdLS.

Manhattan Beach 10K Run

In Memory of Mikey

Los Angeles‐area families and friends took to the streets of Manhattan Beach in honor of children with CdLS – and of one young man in particular, local resident Mikey, who passed away three years ago.
His parents, Julie and Roy, put together a team of runners and walkers for the Manhattan Beach 10K. It was their way of giving back to the Foundation for the support it provided to the family for 18 years. And give back they did: the team raised nearly $22,000.

Bank of America - Chicago Marathon

Team Ambassador

Since 2000, Team CdLS has run 26.2 miles through the streets of Chicago, raising awareness of CdLS along the way.
This year, all team members crossed the finish line, inspired by children with CdLS and the work of the CdLS Foundation. To date, this year’s Chicago runners have raised more than $65,000 for the Foundation.

Duke City Marathon

Team Ambassador

On October 17, 19 Team CdLS members, including Team Ambassador Savannah’s father, Dee, ran the Duke City Marathon.
Through the marathon, they were able to help educate people about CdLS and help raise $7,400 for the Foundation.

ING New York City Marathon

Marathon. Among the 10 team members are five parents, one sibling,
